Dnevnik - 9 maj
Monday 5th May, 7.30 - Very few people look forward to Mondays, but for us it's always an exciting day because we get to meet our new students, who were very lucky this week because they were greeted by extremely nice and sunny weather. Most of the new students already had a slight tan when they walked in the school on Monday, which shows that they had already familiarized themselves with the beaches round Malta. At 10.30 we all met on the school's roof for a welcome meeting, and the students met again in the cafeteria at 12.30 for a welcome party. On Tuesday most of the students, especially the new-comers, joined an organised trip to Mdina and Mosta. They all said it was great fun and that this trip gave them the opportunity to get to know eachother better. On the Wednesday the trip to Comino and the Blue Lagoon was full again. But then again...sun, sea, great company...I don't really blame the students for joining in. In the evening some members of staff and students met in Paceville for a few drinks, and of course, we couldn't not go to Malta's most famous salsa bar - Fuego. Clubs in Malta are famous with students and locals alike for their mid-week parties. Events taking place in Malta this weekend:

Everyone is in class at the moment, finishing off their lessons and planning activities for the coming weekend...and this shows that Friday is nearly over. While going round the classes a few minutes ago I noticed students and teachers taking pictures and exchanging e-mail addresses with the promise to keep in touch even once the students go back home. Although goodbyes are always sad, we are all looking forward to meeting the new students on Monday. Let's wait and see! We'll keep you updated about what's going on at Elanguest.
